Hajnalka VINCZE is a security policy researcher specialized in European and transatlantic issues. Her analyses deal with intra-European and Euro-American power relations, with a particular emphasis on the strategic dimension
and the technological-industrial basis. She takes position in favour
of an autonomous, political Europe. Her commitment to the
preservation and promotion of the European model makes
her a long-time advocate of the core Europe concept.

“No one falls in love with a common market” – as said by Jacques Delors, ex-president of the EU Commission. In fact, it is the single most important lesson that the EU leaders should draw from growing popular disavowal. Instead, they are busy to launch the umpteenth "new strategy of communication". Which does nothing but increase the fundamental problem: the abyssal gap between words and deeds. Because the citizens would like more than this Europe mutilated in the Anglo-Saxon fashion...
