A European Avant-garde: diagnosis, solution, raison d’être

Presentation at the Convention of European Associations, Strasboug/European Parliament, 28 September 2007.

Language of the original publication: French

The reflexion which follows proposes to draw up a short but pitiless state of play of the European integration today. From the diagnosis (that of a dead end), it continues by identifying the remedy (vanguard project), to finish by the evocation of the raison d'être of any European initiative worthy of this name (safeguard of our freedom of choice).

Text in French, with rough translation possibility into English/German at the bottom of the page.
